Welcome! We are Claudia and Stewart.
Home for us is found in the quiet corners of the English countryside. Claudia lives on a narrowboat along the winding Oxford Canal. Stewart lives in a wagon tucked away in the Dorset woods under the watchful eye of Skip, his resident pet crow.
Together, we design and craft jewellery inspired by the heritage of these lands. Every piece we make is a reflection of the slow, intentional life we lead amongst the water and the trees. Join us on Instagram to find out more!
The farrier & the folklore
A farrier by trade, Stewart has lived off grid for over 15 years. His work reflects his Roma heritage, stemming from a lineage of metalworkers and travellers. He’s at his happiest whacking nails into metal or talking about anvils and vices (the tools, not the immoral habits!) Lately, he’s been transforming horse nails into delicate rings and pendants or practising pyrography on wooden spoons inspired by local folklore and the old ways.

The scavenger & the storyteller
My work is more of a mash-up. I’m essentially a professional scavenger with a jewellery-making habit. Influenced by the kitchen folklore of my Northern Italian heritage, I look for the magic in the domestic and the stories in the everyday. I spend my days rescuing ‘found’ objects, trying to hammer vintage spoons into shape or getting far too excited over a scrap of textile with a history. If an object has a story, I want to research it and turn it into something you can wear.

The Old Ways
We are both drawn to the quiet power of folklore. From the Romani trails of Stewart’s ancestors to the hearth-side myths of my Italian roots, we research the symbols of our people. We don’t just make objects; we weave those stories into metal and wood.
Crafted at the Speed of Life
We live and work in small, unconventional spaces. Because of this, our process follows its own unique pace. We don’t mass-produce. Each piece is hand-forged, salvaged, or stitched in small batches.
Our rhythm is dictated by the natural light and the heat of the forge. When you choose a piece from us, you choose an object made with intention. It comes to you from a life lived a little differently—from the heart of the woods or a quiet stretch of the canal.
